Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, AMEX and PayPal. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or securely over the Internet - via www.tranquilpc-shop.co.uk Or you may opt to pay via bank transfer. If you are a repeat reseller buyer, you may wish to apply for a credit account. Payment is normally taken at the point of order to validate the order. If for any reason the goods can't be supplied within 28 days, a full refund will be made or offered.

When an automated confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when the goods are shipped and a valid tax invoice is also supplied. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Cancellation Charge We will accept orders on the basis that if any order is cancelled for any reason by the you, for whatever reason after 24 hours of the order being issued, you will be responsible to make a cancellation charge payment to us of 25% of the total value of the cancelled order. This charge is non-negotiable, unless agreed in writing by one of our directors
Delivery Schedule All goods are made to order. We will normally send your order to you in 5-10 business days, although we do aim to ship much sooner. Accessories normally ship within 24 working hours
Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges All UK orders are subject to VAT at 17.5%. All European orders are subject to VAT at 17.5% unless you have requested VAT exception in which case you must also supply a valid EU VAT number which will be verified before shipment. All other zones are not subject to VAT.

Design Variation Whilst we make every effort to ensure that goods supplied correspond to in every respect with the sample, specification or description provided as the case may be, we are not responsible for the minor variations in specification, in colour or other design features, and no such minor variation shall entitle you to rescind the contract or shall be the subject of any claim against us by you
Credit Card Security When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
Guarantee
  1. Guarantee (Warranty)
    The product guarantee is a 12 months return to base, unless otherwise displayed in writing on sales promotion material. You shall, unless otherwise, in writing, be responsible for all carriage, telephone, postal and other incidental charges incurred during the guarantee period.
    If, for any reason, an order is received and a fault is reported within 5 working days of receipt of the goods (DOA), then we will arrange for collection and repair / re-supply of the said goods, without charge to you. Those repaired or replaced goods will be returned to you no later than 72 working hours after receipt of goods by us.
    After the 5 working day period has elapsed, you are responsible for the return of the goods to us. Those goods will be returned to you, repaired, no later than 10 working days after receipt of the goods by us, unless otherwise advised.
    Outside of the guarantee / warranty period, all return of shipping costs to you and repair costs are to be paid, prior to the return of equipment, after the repair. A written estimate of repair costs and turn-around time will always be provided, before any work is carried out. Due to the nature of the repair / replacement of 'older' equipment, we cannot guarantee to deliver goods back within a set period of time - although every effort will be made to return repaired items within 30 working days.
  2. Returned (un-wanted)
    Goods We will not accept goods for credit unless such return has been authorised in writing by a director of the company, and the goods are received by us in stock condition, with original packaging. There must be a clearly stated reason for the return of un-wanted goods, which we must accept. We retain the right at our sole discretion whether to accept the return of the goods and whether to issue a credit note in respect thereof. We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of 25% on goods returned, that are unwanted by you. Any downward variation of this restocking charge shall be at our sole discretion
    You shall unless otherwise stated be responsible for the cost of return carriage and insurance of all goods returned by you to us for credit and such goods shall be at the risk of you until actual receipt of the goods by us. The onus of proof of safe delivery shall rest with you.
    No credit shall be allowed for goods until they have been received and verified complete, as supplied.
  3. RMA Procedures (within warranty)
    Goods can be returned by prior arrangement as long as they are within the 12 month warranty period, or otherwise displayed in writing on sales promotion material. Please see item 1 above regarding estimated turn-around time for repairs / terms.
    Goods must be returned - in the same format / condition as originally supplied. Any change to the design of the equipment, removal or addition of components may invalidate warranty. Only materials supplied and approved by Tranquil PC Ltd should be used in the equipment.
    Goods returned without authorisation will be sent back to you, without notification.
  4. RMA Procedures (outside of warranty)
    Out of warranty goods can be returned by prior arrangement and your agreement that any work carried out will be subject to a repair re-shipping charge. Repair charges will be clearly agreed in writing and paid before any work is carried out. Please see item 1 above regarding estimated turn-around time for repairs / terms.
    Goods must be returned - in the same format / condition as originally supplied. Any change to the design of the equipment, removal or addition of components may invalidate warranty. Only materials supplied and approved by Tranquil PC Ltd should be used in the equipment.

  5. Consequential Loss
    Our extent of liability to you for any default or breach whatsoever and howsoever arising shall in no case exceed the invoice value of the goods and we shall in no circumstances whatsoever be liable to you in respect of any loss or damage (physical or that of data) whether suffered by you or any customer of yours and whether direct, indirect, consequential, or however else arising.
  6. Law
    If any part of these terms and conditions shall be found to be unlawful it shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remainder of the conditions. This contract is and shall be deemed to have been made in England and shall in all respects be governed by English Law.
