  Great as a home server  I bought this barebones and installed my own hdd, ram and windows home server. All very straightforward. As a 24x4 box it's great and has enough punch for music, video streaming etc. very quite and unobtrusive. WHS has it's quirks but that's not tranquils fault of course.   steveking

  Great Music Server  I use this as a music server for my Squeezebox with Squeezecenter automatically installed in Ubuntu. Set BIOS to WOL, Suspend to RAM (S3) and load the Squeezecenter Power Control Plugin the unit can be put in suspended state (by the remote) and is stone cold when not in use. Comes on in 12 seconds.   Anonymous

  Silent and packs a punch.  The motherboard is an Intel D945GCLF2 you can google it for reviews. The T7 Tranquil case is very solid and all metal, it is a very tight squeeze to slide the mobo in and out when putting your parts in. It is best kept upright to reduce heat through the vents, this dropped the temp by 7c-10c inside.   Anonymous
