When used with the same 160GB HDDs as used in Tranquil PC T2e systems, the 8MB cache Samsung SpinPoints, these storage units are not only fast, and easy to use, they are also quiet. The 2x 300GB units use the quiet Seagate Barracuda 7200.8 ATA-100 (7200rpm,8MB) - PATA NCQ drives.

Of course you can just purchase the SC101 with no drives fitted, and use your own.
