The new Intel D945GCLF2 mini-itx main board, from Intel,
powered by the incredible Atom 330 Dual core CPU, is now available
This very low power CPU (TDP = 7W), with multiple core / multiple thread
support, is exceptionally efficient. Capable of powering Vista Home Media Center,
for example, with ease (even the Aero Glass effects). Now you can even decode
1080p HD files with ease.
The Atom 330 CPU used on this board is a 2x1.6GHz model, with 2x512K of L2
cache, based on Intel’s latest 45nM process. The supporting chipset, the Intel
945GC + ICH7 provides desktop connectivity and performance. Intel high
definition audio, 10/100/1000 LAN, PCI, SATA2 (3GB/s) DDR2 533/667 are all
there, to ensure connectivity, expandability and performance.

Dual Core Atom Excellent bit of kit, I have ubuntu9.4 installed as os.
The purpose for the purchase of this product was to use the low power consumption atom processor as a web server.
